Escalate is this Weekend. Here is what you need to know.
Final Escalate Details
Good afternoon, parents. As you know, Escalate is this weekend, so I just wanted to spend this week's update giving some important details on this event. Please download the Parent Information Packet for all the details.
First, if your student hasn't signed up, they still can. They won't get a shirt on Friday, but they can still participate. Please sign them up though so we can get a headcount. This is largely a preaching-based weekend, so even if they don't plan on staying the night, we would love for them to participate. My only request is that you communicate with me so that we can have the right food ordered.
Second, please consult the packing list. I will have it printed tonight at church. Students need to bring their Bible and something to write on. They also need to bring a sleeping back or a pillow and blankets for the night. I would also ask that they pack proper hygiene items! That is a request for our volunteers...The full packing list can be found in the Parent Information Packet.
Lastly, we are ending this event a bit differently. Rather than staying the night again on Saturday, we'll close with a family dinner, including parents, if you are able. You can stay as long as you want or leave as early as you want, but we will grill out and have a sweet time of fellowship together, playing some games as well.
